CHICO — The Valley’s Edge forum set for tonight at Chico State was rescheduled for a second time after organizers learned they’d need to find another location.
The panel presentation now will be held at the Chico Women’s Club on Friday at 7 p.m., according to Susan Tchudi of the community group Smart Growth Advocates.
The event originally was sponsored by the university’s Department of Planning and Geography, which scheduled it for Wednesday evening in Colusa Hall. After a check of election laws, Smart Growth Advocates assumed the sponsorship role and reserved a room in Bell Memorial Union for 6 p.m. tonight.
The group learned Wednesday night that it would need to find a different location. The BMU is one of the sites Butte County Elections placed a drop box for ballots.
Approval of the Valley’s Edge Specific Plan is on the March 5 ballot for Chico voters via Measure O and Measure P.
