A Northeastern University graduate with a BA degree in business administration, Jason began his career as a co-op covering high school sports at the Boston Globe in 2009. He spent 12 years on the Red Sox beat for MLB.com, MassLive.com and the Boston Herald before he joined the Bay Area News Group in 2023. He's a member of the Baseball Writers' Association of America and votes for the National Baseball Hall of Fame starting in 2023.
