What began as an online experimental music project slowly emerged into one of the biggest collaborative efforts to take place in the Chico music scene in the last few years.
Brandon McKie started his project, thin air, which has stayed true to the genre of experimental music as far as creating an atmosphere of ethereal dream loops that are abstract and make room for interpretation.
Although McKie has worked with dozens of musicians, lately he is playing with guitarist Remi May (Eyes Like Lanterns) and drummer Max Engel (No Wave).
The trio will be releasing an album in November with a release show Nov. 8 at Argus, Bar and Patio, 212 W. Second St.
