CHICO — Here are three fun ways to spend your time in Butte County this weekend.
The annual Snow Goose festival continues this weekend until Sunday, Jan. 28 at the Patrick Ranch Museum on the Midway. Join in the search for winter birds of the Pacific Flyway on four days of field trips in various locations with experienced trip leaders, plus more. Walk-in registration is open. There are over 60 guided field trips, workshops, exhibits and free activities for families.
There will be a banquet and keynote speakers with Bryce and Brita Lundberg from Lundberg Family Farms.

The bands Wolfthump, Modern Methods, Ayvri and Hap Hathaway will perform Friday, Jan. 26 from 6:30-11 p.m. at the Chico Women’s Club. Doors open at 6:30.
Wolfthump was formed in 2009 by lead drummer Mike Wofchuck. The group recreates the drum ensemble which combines traditional samba rhythms with hip-hop, pop and rock.

The Paradise Elks Club is hosting an Artisan Pizza night Friday, Jan. 26 from 5-8 p.m.
The choices are a vegetarian margherita, pepperoni or chicken and garlic with white sauce. A personal size pizza is $15 and one trip to the salad bar costs $7.
The Paradise Elks Lodge No. 2026 is located at 1100 Elk Lane in Paradise.
