So, Michael Reagan featured in “Other views” on Friday’s Opinion page is proof that apples do indeed fall far from the tree.
This “Caglecartoons.com” author and son of President Reagan spewed the moist vile and unfounded nonsense about our president, while attempting to inspire Republicans to come up with an agenda besides impeaching Biden. In the course of his screed, he declared that Democrats were not able to impeach Trump. He is apparently too stupid to know that Donald was impeached twice. He was not convicted in the Senate due to party line votes, but he was indeed impeached. Twice.
I do not usually engage in ad hominem attacks … out someone as stupid. In this case, I write in a manner that perhaps Michael Reagan can understand, as his writing is filled with invective, lies and vile attacks on Joe Biden.
Apparently, Michael did not watch the State of the Union Speech or the bizarre Republican response. He needs to accept that the reason Republicans have nothing more than failed impeachment hearings going for them is that they have nothing more to offer American citizens.
I hope that the editor will think twice before making other offerings such as this from Caglecartoons.com. Michael Reagan’s piece was inappropriate, inaccurate and vile.
This November, vote for a sane, bright future for all of us, vote Democratic.
