SAN DIEGO (AP) — San Diego County prosecutor Rebecca Ocain has avoided jail time after pleading guilty to misdemeanor drunken driving and hit-and-run charges — her second DUI conviction in as many years.

The San Diego Union-Tribune says (http://bit.ly/1S7CPgT) the 39-year-old Ocain was ordered Monday to wear an alcohol-monitoring ankle bracelet for 90 days, then enroll in a county home-detention program for 125 days.

She also was fined and ordered to enroll in an alcohol-education program for multiple offenders.

Ocain was arrested in August after running a stop sign and crashing into a wall at an Alpine cemetery. She was on probation for a 2014 DUI conviction.

Ocain remains on paid leave from her job with the district attorney’s office.
