Fans rewarded Adele’s return to making new music by helping her set records for the release of her single “Hello.”

Since it was uploaded Friday to Vevo, the video has been viewed more than 93 million times. In the video, the British pop singer belts out a lament about a broken relationship.

“Hello” is the first single from Adele’s upcoming third album “25,” which is due for release Nov. 20.

“Hello” set a record for the music video site Vevo, which reported that the single-day view total for Friday was 27.7 million, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The previous single-day record holder was Taylor Swift, whose “Bad Blood” video garnered 20.1 million views on May 17.

The Wall Street Journal also reported that during its first 48 hours, “Hello” was played one million times per hour, making it the biggest video debut of the year. At its peak, the video was viewed 1.6 million times per hour, beating out the highly anticipated “Star Wars: The Force awakens” trailer, which reached 1.2 million views at its peak viewing.
