“Working Toward a Healthier Butte County” will offer a panel of experts to talk about health programs in Butte County.
The panel presentation will be from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Chico library, 1108 Sherman Ave.
Presented by the League of Women Voters and American Association of University Women, the panel of agency professionals will feature Gene Azparren, Butte County Health Department; Tatiana Fassieux, Passages Adult Resource Center; and Lauri Evans, Chico State University Health Center.
Azparren will present the results of the county-wide survey on health, and implementation plans to address those key health issues that the survey revealed.
Fassieux will speak about seniors, caregivers, and the disabled as they operate within the Medicare system.
Evans will discuss the various health issues facing young people.
