I have to disagree with your weepy “miss” assessment that Chico’s relatively low primary voter turnout (35%) was “just sad.” What treasure has mankind missed out on as a result of peoples’ non-participation? I think it’s actually a good thing when uninterested, disengaged, and probably-uninformed voters misplace or recycle their ballots.
