David Erik Svihus Obituary

DAVID (ERIK) SVIHUS David (Erik) Svihus, was born April 16th, 1956 to Richard and Bobbie (Lucas) Svihus in Oakland, CA. He died on March 15, 2024 in Red Bluff due to colon cancer. David was an Eagle Scout and animal rescuer. He most recently worked at Sycamore Glen in Chico, CA. He greeted each morning with a cheery good morning to all. David was a loving son and brother. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard. He is survived by his mother, Bobbie Svihus and brother Mo (Douglas). A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 13th at 3:00 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 2341 Floral Ave. in Chico. Arrangements are being handled by Newton-Bracewell Funeral Home.
