Philip Roy Irmer “Phil” Obituary

PHILIP ROY IRMER PHIL Phil past away March 13th, 2024 with his son James lrmer by his side. He was born in Glendale, Ca on January 8th, 1954 to Roy and Joan lrmer and is proceeded in death by them. Phil spent his whole life in Chico and attended Chico Jr High and Chico Senior High. Following his father’s footsteps, he was a mechanic. After his father retired he took over ownership of lrmer’s Auto Repair with his brother Martin. Phil was married 3 times. His first marriage was to Ruth Gravelle to which they had 2 children. Daughter Kimberly Ina lrmer and Son James Eugene lrmer. His second marriage was to Debbie Brown which he took on the father roll to her son “Bear”. His 3rd wife was to Sue Boyer to which they had 1 child Daughter Melanie Kay lrmer and took on the father roll to daughter Mardi Stevens. He found his long life partnership with Regina VanderVelden and took on the father roll to Daughter’s Lacey VanderVelden and Cayla VanderVelden. Phil is survived by his 3 brother’s, Terry lrmer, Martin lrmer, Rodney lrmer. 3 children Kimberly lrmer-Forbis, James lrmer, Melanie lrmer and 5 grandchildren Anthony lrmer, Philip (Bubba) lrmer, Christine lrmer, Christopher Griffith and Brielle Murray. Phil has 17 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Phil will be loved and missed by all who had the opportunity to know him, because to know him was to love him! A Celebration Of Life will be held at the Double Tree in Chico on April 6th at 1:30 pm. 685 Manzanita Ct, Chico Ca 95926
