GLENNA GAIL LOMBARD Our beloved mother, Glenna Gail Lombard passed away Sunday, February 18th, at home surrounded by her daughters. She was born on December 17, 1936, in Clovis, NM. Her parents Alene and Gilbert Elliott later moved to Willows, CA where she attended schools and was involved with 4H. She graduated from Willows High School in June 1954. A week later, she married Harold Lombard, her devoted husband of 64 years. While they lived in Chico, she attended Chico State and earned her teaching credential. She began teaching at Capay, but soon found a position with Chico Unified School District as an Elementary School Teacher until she retired in 1993, 27 years. She then spent many years traveling and devoting time at her church, as well as the Quilt Guild. Gail is survived by her four daughters and sons-in-law, Carol & John Summers of Chico, Dorothy & Ruben Marquez of Cerritos, Joyce Roth of Fair Oaks, Nancy & Rich Rivera of Del Mar, 10 grandchildren, & 7+ great grandchildren. In addition, her brother and sisters-in-law, Floyd & Kathy Elliott of San Jose, CA, Lloyd & Charlene Lombard of Willows and Yvonne Lombard of Johns Island, SC along with her wonderful nieces and nephews and many loving friends. She is preceded in death by her husband and sister, Mariam Haynes of Elk Creek. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Butte Bible Fellowship. A remembrance celebrating the life of Gail will be held on Saturday, March 23rd., 10:00am Graveside Ceremony, Willows Cemetery, 800 E Wood St, Willows, CA 95988, 2:00pm Celebration of Life, Butte Bible Fellowship, 2255 Pillsbury Rd, Chico CA 95926
