Margaret Susan Kennedy Obituary

MARGARET SUSAN KENNEDY Margaret Susan Kennedy (Sue) was born on June 29, 1940 in Santa Monica, CA. She passed on March 5, 2024 in Chico, CA. Sue is survived by her daughter Sharon Maligie, grandchildren Micah Maligie and Brianna Watkin and great-grandchildren Jaden, Keira, Luka and Mylo. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Betty Light from Berkeley, CA, brother John Light, Jr and ex-husband Dean Kennedy. Sue worked for the County of Lake until she retired in 2002. She moved to Chico from Lake County in 2020 to be nearer to her family. The family will be having a family only ceremony in May to respect Sue’s wishes.
